Industry Experience Internship
During my spring 2016 semester, I was able to intern at QVC and have it count towards the MIS Industry Experience course. Responsibilities during my internship included negotiating pricing, reviewing contracts, and using tools such as excel for data analysis. This internship has been extremely helpful because it has provided me with insight as to what my professional life will be like after graduation. This course required status updates and a final presentation. These were very helpful in recapping all of the work that I have done here and reminded me how fortunate I am too be able to have industry experience before graduating.
