MY EXPERIENCE & FUTURE
Current Job. I am currently working at The Children Hospital of Philadelphia as a Materials Distribution Technician. I am responsible for following duties:
- Pack, label, scan, and ship prescription company medicines to 200 customers per day, the prescription distribution within the hospital.
- Utilize a database to receive, count and process daily prescription medicine shipments and assess them for damage.
- Close orders using Lawson system and ensured deliveries contained the correct products.
- Perform troubleshooting techniques for computer and printing problems.
- Inform manger of products that needed to be reordered.
Summer Internship: I did summer internship as Data Analyst at Mesa Technical Associates, Inc., Moorestown, NJ. I was responsible for following duties:
- Support telecom installation projects for customers like Sprint, Clearwire, Verizon, and others
- Process, review and verify accuracy of information provided by field technicians
- Making files compatible to customer reporting Sterra software
- Provide support to technicians in the field via email or phone
Previous Job: I worked as a cashier at Banwait Enterprises, Inc. I was responsible for following duties:
- Supervised daily operations for a retail concession serving 200 customers daily for a gas station and auto repair shop.
- Reconciled $1000+ deposits, handled opening and closing security, supplies inventory and order worksheets.
- Resolved customer complaints and assigned duties to 5 crew members for the day shift.
- Provided invoiced to customers with a detailed summary of the work they had completed by the shop.
- Account for payrolls and expense registers and prepare and maintain daily financial records.
I did not have any experiences relates to my career yet. That is why I am looking for internship or job related to Finance or MIS. I love working with new technology.
Volunteering I enjoy to volunteering and helping out my community. I have put in 30 hours of volunteer work during my graduation project at Sikh Temple called Philadelphia Sikh Society. During volunteering, I took class at Punjabi School in which I taught children Punjabi. I feel pleasant helping people.
Post graduation. After graduation, I would like to get a job in the IT sector or Finance related. Before I can definitively decide on a career path though, I plan to get more experience through internships. Currently, I am seeking an internship position for the summer of 2013.
