Information Technology Assistant
- Through my role as an Information Technology Assistant in Temple University’s MIS Department, I assisted over eighty students with understanding the role of information systems and digital platforms in business, learning the basics of programming languages including HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and using cloud-based CRM platforms such as Salesforce. I answered student inquiries regarding class material and assignments through email, weekly office hours, and one-on-one Zoom appointments.
- Through helping my peers, I strengthened my technological skills by reinforcing my own understanding of cloud-based CRM platforms and programming languages. I was able to utilize my knowledge from my current MIS courses (MIS 2502 and MIS 2402) to assist students in learning the foundations of MIS. Additionally, I built my network by working with Professor Leila Hosseini, fellow ITAs, and other MIS majors.
