Credit Markets and Business Strategy Intern
The Bancorp is a medium-sized bank specializing in banking as a service (BaaS) partnerships with non-bank FinTech companies. The Bancorp provides the banking and technological infrastructure to facilitate smooth transactions between the bank, the FinTech, and the customer. As a credit markets and business strategy intern, I worked directly with the director of strategy to communicate strategy for expanding FinTech partnerships to management. I analyzed technology companies’ business models to understanding business model viability and determine if new business lines would be possible to enter. I used the CapIQ financial software to develop a dashboard for monitoring financial metrics of The Bancorp and its competitors. This experience enhanced my understanding of the rapidly growing and dynamic FinTech sector.
