- Brief High School internship where I started understanding the basics of coding and programming. While I also was gaining knowledge of the IT work process and work environment.
The internship helped me understand the IT work environment which consisted of problem solving and team-building. It allowed me to see the changing environment of I.T. that makes me intrigued by the field. Furthermore,
IBIT Challenge: This challenge was intriguing since we had to parse through a biopharmaceutical company’s clinical trial excel spreadsheet. It required lots of teamwork because there were different directions for parsing the data, but we managed to use software such as Tableau and Excel, and then went on to make a sleek looking Visualization.
IT Live Webinar: I attended a webinar hosted by ISACA which highlighted various insider threats within the cybersecurity space and the needed pace that organizations have to keep up with when COVID has changed so many operations.
Class Project: Various group projects such as a Web Service Programming project which required an API on a website connecting to a SQL database was challenging and motivating. Similarly the Penetration test and mitigation project in Managing Enterprise Cybersecurity was a learning experience due to the amount of problem solving and understanding of Kali Linux.
