Senior Project Management Intern
During Summer 2025, I completed an eight-week internship with Avink Technologies, a growing technology company headquartered remotely and focused on building its app, CityWide. I served as a Senior Project Management Intern, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Michael Donahue. In this role, my responsibilities included leading data-collection initiatives, recommending enhancements for consistency and accuracy, and developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure scalable and repeatable data practices. I also assisted with project planning, coordination, and documentation, including timelines and project plans. Through these projects, I gained hands-on experience in process improvement and project management while supporting a company preparing for growth. This internship directly connected to my coursework as a Management Information Systems major, particularly in areas such as data management, systems analysis, and project management. It strengthened my ability to apply classroom concepts, like creating structured processes and aligning technology with business objectives, in a professional setting.
