- Genre: YA Fantasy
- Shadow and Bone is the first book of the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. It follows the young orphaned girl, Alina Starkov, on her journey in discovering her power, joining the Grisha (the elite humans with ‘Small Science’ powers), and pursuit of defeating the monsters destroying the once great nation of Ravka. This trilogy has been adapted into a Netflix series and I’m excited to watch it after I finish the books!
