Information Technology Specialist
- Special Guest is a startup that facilitates the marketplace between performers and venues. After appearing on Apple TV’s “Battle of the Apps”, they received funding from Will.I.Am and other notable celebrities.
- In this internship I worked as an IT Specialist, doing a wide array of tasks from database management, ETL work in excel, and client management through our internal technology.
- I helped design an admin view to our system which functions as the backend to our website. I created a rating system to optimize profiles, and I was the facilitator in a merger/acquisition proposal.
- I learned so much in this internship, as being in a startup provides you with a completely different insight than a standard internship. I was able to see a business grow drastically in a couple months, provide other opportunities that are still being explored, and contribute in a way that directly impacted the entire organization. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
