Prototype Review

 

As user data is collected, a dashboard will provide individuals with an overview of their recent activity. The main areas of focus are their browsing history, online purchasing, geographic activity, and social media usage.

 

Data brokers are using this data to build profiles about the user. Here, with Anti Aggregator, the user will be able to see what profiles he/she is placed into for the first time.

Next, users of our app will be given the opportunity to see what their anticipated future needs and habits will be based on what they are doing today. Notice on the right the user sees they will need some form of debt services based on their current spending habits.

Our app will also feature an RSS feed which will portray articles about companies our users do business with. Say, for instance, a user does some financial business with Barclays and Barclays is found to be selling customer data to third parties, the RSS feed will feature news about this matter.

Lastly, we will provide users with options on how to reduce the means by which their data can be collected by third parties.
