Interests/ Hobbies

I am a member of the American Marketing Association and participate in the community service committee. As part of the community service committee, I help raise money for AMA as well as help the Philadelphia community. We have had many fundraisers and bake sales to raise money for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as well as volunteering locally for organizations like Youth for Change and The Salvation Army. I enjoy helping my community, and hope to be able to travel to other countries that need assistance in order to spend time helping their communities as well as immersing myself in their cultures. I became interested in helping other countries after a trip to Costa Rica where I not only participated in many challenging and exciting activities, but my group and I helped build a school for local Costa Rican children. This trip inspired my interests in the community service and non profit fields of business.

I am minoring in Spanish because learning about Spanish speaking countries is extremely interesting to me. My hobbies include being around friends and family as well as experiencing Philadelphia by visiting the many historical or iconic sites.

In my free time I enjoy running. I have participated in fundraising races, such as The Mud Run which is paired up with Operation Gratitude benefitting the United States Military by sending them care packages. I prefer to run for stress relief and to stay healthy which is why I usually just run non competitively. Aside from running, I love taking pilates classes as often as I can.
