Study Abroad
Studying abroad was one of the most liberating experiences of my life. The Temple Rome program allowed me to meet so many people of different walks of life. Studying Italian was also a plus because I was able to incorporate the language with a real life insight to Italian life.
One of my favorite experiences was our trip to Todi where we ate a 12 course meal in a medieval castle. It was a great way to start the study abroad experience.
Throughout my trip, there was a quote that was told to me by an Italian citizen I met on my way to class one day:
Colui che non rischia nella vita non vince niente: this means “He who risks nothing gains nothing”
