Analytical Reading and Writing

In this class, I analyzed and wrote papers on various social and ethical issues facing America today. This course helped to broaden my view of the world and issues that different kinds of people face daily.

Business Seminar I

Business seminar was a class that began to prepare me to join the professional world. In the class, we learned the basics of how to make resumes, business attire, and how to prepare for job interviews.

Macroeconomics Principles 1101

The first econ class I took my freshman year, macroeconomics is the study of the economy on a large scale basis. I learned many skills in this class, but most of all I learned how to draw graphs.

Microeconomics Principles 1102

The other economics course I took my freshman year, microeconomics is the study of the economy on a smaller scale. Micro focuses on individual firms and households, yet it still manages to have as many graphs as macro.

MIS 2101

The only MIS based course I took my freshman year, MIS 2101 is the foundation of the principles of MIS. In this class I learned what MIS is, how it is used in the business world, as well as learning all about swimlane and ERD diagrams.

HRM is all about the basics of how businesses run. I learned the different positions within a company and their roles, as well as the different departments that make up a company.

Legal Environment of Business is a class that introduces the basics of business laws. I learned what is needed in order to form a business, as well some laws and legal terms relevant to the business world.

Philosophy of the Human

A philosophy class thats all about the human condition. In this class, I read the works of many esteemed philosophers such as Socrates and Immanuel Kant, and learned what they thought it meant to be human.

Quantitative Methods for Business

A statistics based math class in which I learned business relevant math applications.

The Environment

In this class I studied all about the environment. I learned about animals and ecosystems, as well as the impact humans have had on the planet.
