Vibecoding: How ANYONE Can Turn Daily Routines into Scalable Systems
The speaker of the event was Professor Keith Gutierrez. The topic was about Vibecoding and AI and how we can use it to build custom software to solve everyday problems instead of sticking to how we currently deal with them. Professor Gutierrez’s presentation went over how he used this style of coding and AI in his vending machine business to keep track of his inventory, determine which items are best sellers, and which ones are not selling as well. He also talked about how he made an app to help neurodivergent children perform daily tasks and track them. From the presentation, I learned that coding doesn’t need to be hard and that if I am passionate about a project, approaching it with this style and using these techniques can help me reach my goals. I also learned about new coding and AI tools that I didn’t know of before like Claude which will be beneficial to my career goals.
