Where Is the Data? Making Data Visualizations Accessible to All
I participated in the workshop “Where Is the Data? Making Data Visualizations Accessible to All”, an educational session speaking about how you can improve accessibility, clarity and effectiveness in your data visualizations. The event was sponsored by Temple University and hosted by Van Tran. During the workshop, we learned what makes data accessible such as using proper labels/titles and using structured formatting in PDF files, Excel, and websites. The event helped me further improve my understanding of accessible data and how it isn’t just a technical skill, but a professional responsibility.
