Visual Analytics: Best Practices, Sharing & Collaboration

On Tuesday May 10th at 1pm, I attended a live webinar called “Visual Analytics: Best Practices, Sharing & Collaboration”. This webinar introduced me to Tableau which is a Data visualization company. The website called NetCom learning offers training/ courses on Data and artificial intelligence through Tableau visual analytics, Tableau Desktop Intermediate and Advanced. I found it very helpful that there are different courses available for people who are beginners and people who are advanced or have an expertise in this. Tableau tailors to a wide range of audience coming from different backgrounds, niches, and interests. They also offer private training plans that are customized to the specific need of each audience, which is extremely useful and sought out for. Through Tableau you can share your work and collaborate, and learn to design dashboards, with various components and services. The speaker Deepak Lakhotia talked about visual analytics, and how Tableau is one of the most effective softwares. Through Tableau you can tailor to your users needs by using the correct data methods such as the correct chart, bar graphs, x/ y axis. Also you want to make sure that your data has 1 specific theme, a consistent background, legend colors consistent, and intensity and divergence. This webinar gave a great overview on Tableau and I am interested to learn more! I believe that this can be a useful tool to learn, especially since I am interested in data analytics and Artificial intelligence as my future career goals!
