Shift Leader
At Gong Cha, I was a Shift Lead there for about 1.5 years learning about all that I could. The job I was tasked allowed me to learn how to communicate with colleagues and customers. We listen to customer and their request or complaint and we talk amongst the team and figure a solution. I was given a role where I have to oversee my peers, give them instructions with leadership to keep everything in order. We are also all tasked with customer loyalty and satisfaction which is a huge priority to us. I help with making excel sheets to keep track of the finances and the total for ingredients and recipes for the organization which helps me have experience using excel more proficiently in my major. I also had a part in helping making the schedule with people’s availability for work depending on their schedule. I have learned tons working there, allowing me to pay attention to details, multitask, take information in and use it, improve customer service everyday as much as possible, professionalism, and more, ensuring customers to come back eagerly another day.
