MY EXPERIENCE
Assistant Operations Manager, Jerusalem Furniture, Phila PA November 2011 – present
- Oversee revenues, expenses, and inventory at all 5 locations for a regional furniture store with over 15 million in revenue per year.
- Created a more productive logistics system, which improved work compensation based on merit and quality of service to the customer.
- Analyze each location’s reports, and track managers budgets for each store; create a weekly excel report for owners.
Sales Manager, Jerusalem Furniture, Phila, PA May 2009 – November 2011
- Oversaw up to 10 salesman, and made sure sales for the South Philadelphia store were met daily.
- Started as a salesman promoted to sales manager in less than one year.
- Assisted over 50 customers a day in sales, and handled monetary transactions averaging $20,000 daily.
- Helped with any customer service issues, and found solutions to meet customer satisfaction.
MY FUTURE
After graduation, I would like to get a job in the IT or financial sector. Before I can decide on a career path I would like to get an internship for the spring or summer of 2015.
