KT ACCOUNTING FIRM INTERN
In the summer of 2017, I was accepted as a full-time intern in a Japanese-Vietnamese accounting firm in Ho Chi Minh City. It was such an amazing experience to be able to learn and work in a professional environment. During three months I worked there, I assisted my supervisor with many tasks such as inputting raw data using excel from 300+ invoices from Japanese companies, translating when needed. Moreover, I also held meeting with customers from other Japanese clients and handled physical invoices from them.
CENTER FOR STUDENT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
By January 2018, I got the chance to join the Center of Student Development, a department of Fox’s School of Business, as a student worker. My task as a front desk receptionist to assist students who come to the office for help with their professional development need. One of my favorites aspects of this job is being able to help students with various problems. As an international student, working for CSPD also greatly improves my communication skill since this job requires me to talk to an abundant of students, to help employers from different firms when they visit our office and to answer daily phone calls.
