Target Case Competition 2019
The Target Corporation provided a case regarding how to market during the Back to College season. My team acted as a district team leader for Target, seeking to create strategies that solved current opportunities for Target as well as the retail industry. My team delivered a campaign called College Up, with three different phases, to Target involving our ideas and strategies for Target to capitalize on the market of Back to College season. My team was selected to compete as a finalist to present our Idea to a panel of judges. At the end, we won the FIRST place!
I learned about current developments in the business world, as well as opportunities on which Target is seeking to capitalize. I was able to apply my experience from MIS coursework to imagine relevant technologies that could be implemented or created to apply the various of marketing strategy. This relates to my current course MIS 3506 , which teaches me how to become a Business Analyst.
