Interests and Activities
Association for Information Systems (AIS) is an organization that promotes students studying management information systems to participate in networking events, professional development workshops, along with community service opportunities and social events. I believe being a member of an organization such as AIS contributes to my academic and professional success.
The purpose of the HootaThon organization is to raise awareness and funds for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Throughout the semester, our organization, AIS, raises funds for HootaThon and CHOP, culminating in a 12 hour dance marathon. The stories and experiences from families who speak at the event about how the fundraising efforts have changed their lives makes this event something very special to be a part of.
Relay for Life is the world’s largest, most impactful fundraising event to fight cancer. Fundraising to help fight a disease that is close to my heart and the hearts of many others is something very special.
