Mindfulness: A Critical Skill for Project Managers
I have learned that mindfulness allows individuals to connect with themselves, so they can identify and expand beyond their personal limitations to better connect with other individuals. This is extremely helpful in management because it practices self-control, objectivity, affect tolerance, enhanced flexibility, equanimity, improved concentration and mental clarity, emotional intelligence, and the ability to relate to others and one’s self with kindness, acceptance, and compassion.
