Consider:

Think of 5 examples of business rules that you encounter in your own life, at home, at work or at school.  Write them down.  What kinds of rules are they?  How might these rules be connected to auditing?

Consider these objectives:

  • Protecting business assets
  • Ensuring accurate business information
  • Ensuring compliant employee behavior

How do you see information systems being involved with all three of these objectives?
