Experience

Education:

Lakewood High School

The fist school I attended in the United States, Lakewood High School was an amazing experience. I met so many wonderful people from so many diverse backgrounds and I believe Lakewood is my inspiration for traveling, which is one of my biggest passions and learning more about our massively diverse world. I graduated as an Honors student and was shaped into a better person thanks to my wonderful teachers and peers.

Fox School of Business Temple University

I am currently an MIS student at the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Fox has a very inspiring environment with very highly achieving professors. The students that I have met so far are highly motivated and are working really hard towards their goals. This is exactly the type of learning environment I was hoping to be a part of. I have already learned so much and I look forward to learning much more.

Work Experience:

United States Army

I served 4 years in the U.S Army with one combat tour to Iraq in 2014. The Army helped shape me into the person that I am today. The challenges that I faced during my time in the military helped me become resilient, hard working, and motivated, but above all it made me appreciate the little things in life that we tend to look past on a daily basis.

Positions:

  • Combat Vehicle Commander: As a vehicle commander my job was to maintain and operate the M1126 Stryker Combat Vehicle. I was responsible for one soldier and over six million dollars worth of equipment.
  • Chaplain Assistant: this position was given to me in Iraq. My responsibilities included safeguarding the Chaplain while conducting operations in the field and helping him on the admin side of the operations. I was also put in charge of organizing moral boosting events during our nine month stay in the middle east.
  • Bradly Fighting Vehicle Operator: My responsibilities included operating and maintaining The Bradly Fighting Vehicle during operations we conducted in Kansas and in Kuwait.
  • M249 Machine Gunner: Working in a team of five, we conducted training operations partaking in many exercises which included at times over one thousand troops and hundreds of vehicles.
