Data Analyst
Preservation Health is a physician-based medical office that does not accept insurance payments. During my part-time period at Preservation Health, I was tasked with creating methods for organizing financial data. I specifically:
- Maintain financial spreadsheets about patient information
- Build out business intelligence (BI) reports to automate the flow of financial information from spreadsheets
- Create a relational database to store financial information about patients
- Build a client-side application so front desk employees can get, post, and edit information on the database
- Provide monthly reports about outstanding financial balances for patients
I learned how to create a client-side application with JavaScript, create multi-dimensional database structures, and create more accurate BI reports.
