MIS 2502 – Data Analytics
In this course, I learned how to effectively analyze business data and create conclusions. Along with this, I adapted skills allowing me to use and structurally understand database systems like SQL MongoDB, and R studio. This course strengthed my ability to observe large databases to find correlations between products and consumers. From there, I was able to view these connections and further analyze them through written production. This course helped me understand my career interest in sports data analytics.
MIS 2101 – Information Systems in Organizations
MIS 2101 is the introductory course for the MIS major. The goal of this course is to able to explain and understand the role of information technology in management systems. In addition, I learned many different business modules from this course, including Swim lane diagrams, Customer Relationship Management Systems, and the Entity Relationship Diagram. Also, as the semester matured, I participated in class discussions surrounding the controversial topic of Artificial Intelligence.
