Association for Information Systems (AIS), Fall 2014–Present
I am a member of AIS here at Temple University. AIS is a student professional organization that is open to students interested and/or pursing a career in Management Information Systems. They offer many opportunities that including promoting the study and practice of management information systems. Every Monday, weekly meetings are held with people from many different companies who talk about their IT careers along with weekly Friday workshops too.
Temple University Philippine American Council (TUPAC), Fall 2014 — Present
I am also a member of TUPAC. TUPAC focuses on Filipino culture and is open to anyone who wants to join, regardless if they are Filipino or not. With TUPAC, I learn about different characteristics and traditions that my country has. With living in the United States, I am glad I found a way to connect to my ethnic background while meeting great new people at the same time.
Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Founding Sister, Spring 2014–Present
Another organization I am of member of is Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. It is the newest sorority at Temple making it the fifth Panhellenic sorority on campus. I am 1 of 120 founding sisters who established our chapter here at Temple. Our official philanthropy is Autism speaks, and Alpha Xi Delta has been able to raise more than $2 million for this great cause!
