Information Technology Internship- Subaru

In this role, I was exposed to many different areas of the business. In the beginning, I mostly worked on things like user guides and FRD’s. This helped me learn more about the business and begin to become exposed to the work of a business analyst. Later on, I began doing programming in PL/SQL. Using PL/SQL, I coded a few API’s and package bodies. These applications gave me exposure to programming and how to effectively teach myself new coding languages.

Homework aid at Boys and Girls Clubs of America

March 2016  –  August 2016 (6 months)

I held two different positions while I worked here. From March to June I was a homework aid. My duties were to assist 4th graders with their homework, check their answers, write reports to their teachers and clean up the classroom. From June to August I was a counselor at their summer camp. My duties at this job were to prep the building for the kids, supervise the kids, create activity plans for the kids, conflict resolution, and thoroughly clean everything at night.

I am very impressed with your work experience however being a Homework Aid would seem to me to be the most rewarding of all the positions. What could be better than assisnting young students with their homework. Keep up the GREAT work and one day one (if this has not already happened) one of those kids may tell you that your assitance helped them pass a test or even a class. #Rewarding

    1. Thank you! That was the best job I’ve ever had I loved working with the kids and providing them with guidance to help them stay on track with their schoolwork. Like you said, the best part is hearing from them or their parents and knowing I made an impact on their lives.
