Outside the classroom
I was recently an intern for the Allyson Schwartz For Governor campaign, where I was responsible for canvassing neighborhoods to collect polls about who individuals expected to vote for and persuading them to vote for Allyson when possible. Its interesting to behind the scenes and talk with people responsible for planning the strategy of a major gubernatorial campaign.
I also work as a bookseller and barista in the Temple Law Barnes & Noble, I enjoy it quite a bit as it gives me a chance to have one-on-one conversations with people I wouldn’t usually interact with on a daily basis, including local residents, foreign exchange students from all over the globe, Temple faculty, and families of prospective students.
In addition, my interests outside of the classroom include photography, exploring Philly, and listening to all kinds of music. Candid photos and landscape shots in hard-to-reach buildings and other areas are my favorite thing to capture.
