MIS 4596 – SafeRide
For my final MIS course, I worked in a group on a semester-long project designing a mobile application & service called “SafeRide”. The application is designed for drivers & passengers who would like the peace of mind that if they were to be a part of an automobile accident, emergency medical services would be contacted immediately, thus decreasing the impact of injuries and the likelihood of a fatality. I am learning the steps it takes to implement such a project, financial metrics that need to be considered, and carefully considering every element that could change or impact the launch of such an application.
