Abby Food Corporation, Pie Land
Pie Land was a local bakery in Buck County. We specialized in pies and cheesecake for our customers. I started to work there during their grand opening, December 2010. Although I stopped working there when I went to college. Although as the semester breaks approached, the owner, Andy, called me to ask if I was willing to work again. In May 2012, Andy promoted me to assistant manager. I was honored to receive the promotion over the other six sales associates. I continued to work there in between semesters until they closed down in January 2013.
- Managed and trained a team of seven sales associates. Training included communicating with customers to identify requirements and operating independently
- Prepared custom orders, based on customers’ special request/needs
- Managed product placement by highlighting most popular products in the showcase
- Closed by calculating the profit for the day
