CompTIA IT Fundamentals (FC0-U61) Cert Prep 1
Skills: Networking Administration, Computer Hardware
After completing the “CompTIA IT Fundamentals (FC0-U61) Cert Prep 1: Computer Basics, Hardware, and Operating Systems” course on LinkedIn Learning, I gained an introductory understanding of computer networking and hardware. Through engaging video lectures and quizzes, I learned about the differences between networks, such as LAN and WAN, which are used to connect devices and transfer data. Additionally, I understood how input to a computer works, along with the functions of different computer components. For example, RAM stores and transfers temporary data to the CPU, which then processes and outputs the information the user is seeking. This course is part one of the preparation for the CompTIA (FC0-U61) Certification and I will continue learning the different modules to help me build a better understanding of the fundamentals of Information Technology.
