ABOUT ME

Today

I am a Product Manager for TD Bank focused on money movement services and solutions for our Small Business Customers at TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®.  As a Professional MBA student with a concentration in Strategic Management at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, I am able to leverage learned course material to drive, support and/or develop strategy back at the office.  I look forward to furthering my strategic thinking and execution skills to ultilimately maximize value for our Customers, shareholders and employees.

Background

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Albright College with a Bachelors of Science in both Business & Political Science. My career began in the Secondary Marketing Department at Freedom Mortgage Company where my aptitude towards analyzing data to identify business opportunities was first realized. I joined UnitedHealthCare (UHC) insurance as part of a team of Financial Analysts brought on board to help expand the Medicare Advantage line of business. After a few years, I moved into a Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst role with UHC, where my analytical skills supported acquisition, retention, product development, and pricing strategies and my communication skills began to develop. While working with UHC, I received my Six Sigma Green Belt through a project aimed at increasing savings related to fraud, waste and abuse.

In 2011, I joined TD Wealth Management Services, Inc. an affiliate of TD Bank as the Business Analytics and Communications Manager, where my responsibilities included developing the analytical and communications framework as well as execution. I  served as a Board Fellow for Clarifi, a nonprofit organization committed to financial literacy in 2012 – 2013. My board position was focused on the strategic framework and marketing plan for a newly developed product.

Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy keeping active, dancing, exploring and spending time with family and friends. Adjectives people often use to describe me include: intellectually curious; adventurous; creative; analytical; persistent.

Recent examples: November 2014 I participiated in Net Impact & SAP’s Design (thinking) for Social Impact: I was part of the Philadelphia regions winning team. Click here to learn more about Net Impact & SAP’s Impactathon. November 2013, I participated in an academic trip to Turkey with Temple’s Fox School of Business. I focused my research on modes of entry to the Turkish banking system/market for a Western bank. September 2012, I participated in the MS Society’s City to Shore Charity Bike Ride with my Aunt JoAnn. We biked over 150 miles each and through the good fortune of donors raised over $2550 combined!

Finally, every year, I look forward to taking my nieces/nephews shopping to pick out their birthday gift and have dinner together. While prepping myself for the time that I am no longer cool enough for a trip to the mall.  As one of my niece’s continues to count down the days until her 15th birthday (less than 30 now) – I am optimistic about our shopping time. I just may have to schedule it in advance.
