Data Analytics Intern
From June to August 2023, I was a Data Analytics Intern at Insurance Services Plus in Philadelphia. It is an independent insurance agent located in Manayunk that offers insurance services tailored to clients. During my time there, I was able to learn a great deal about insurance policies and renewals. I provided exceptional client support by delivering professional responses to client inquiries through email and phone calls. A large responsibility of mine was data entry projects where I organized information for insurance renewals using Microsoft Excel. I learned how to create engaging and informative presentations, utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint to create visual aides for client meetings and presentations. Overall, my internship allowed me to develop strong customer service and data management skills while also improving my communication skills with other people. This work experience relates to Management Information Systems because it allowed me to work on the technology side of things such as data organization and management as well as communicating with people.
