Educational background
I attended Parktown Boy’s High (South Africa) which is listed in the top 5 best semi private school’s in the country. Parktown Boy’s High alwayshas and still continues to make headlines in the local newspapers of South Africa as one of the leading high schools in the country. As it was a semi-private school based on the British education system, we had to adhere to an ethical code of conducts and as well to the school principles of being a Parktowian. These rules where carried out under strict order on and off the premises. Any student caught behaving in an inappropriate manner were subject to disciplinary actions.
At Parktown Boy’s summer and winter sport were compulsory. I excelled in three sports which were field hockey, rugby and cricket. I made 2nd team for the former two and 1st team for the latter respectively.
In my final year I completed a one year high school exchange programme in North Carolina in order to gain experience of a different culture. Upon returning to South Africa and graduating, I decided to go into I.T. field and later joined Torque I.T. where I obtained my PC engineering diploma and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in Windows 2000 in the year 2002.
My current academic career with Temple university is where I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance and MIS. Courses that I have taken include MSOM, Business Society and Ethics, Legal Environment of Business, Information Systems in Organizations. My Spring 2013 classes include Business communications, Enterprise IT Architecture, Data Analytics and Professional Development Strategies.
