Information Technology Assistant
Within this role I assist a professor in a class of 40 students, called “Cloud Architecture”, with their technological questions. I evaluate student assignments to ensure they complete them correctly and on time, and hold office hours to offer extra help for students having trouble with their code. I can utilize my knowledge of AWS, JavaScript, Node.js, and HTML to assist students with their questions. I had taken this course in the Fall so I had a very good understanding of the concepts and working through the assignments. One of the best learning experiences I’ve had was being able to break down how a student’s code is running and help them see where they can make adjustments. I have been able to strengthen my communication skills as well as my technical skills within the cloud, as I have had to understand the concepts on a deeper level to help students as best I can.
