Emergency Management Specialist
From January 2017-June 2020 i served in the Air Force as an emergency management specialist in Charleston, SC. In this position i held many responsibilities including running the logistics department that handled an annual budget of over $250K. I also oversaw our community outreach and preparedness events. Which included meeting with the local government to assist them in their natural disaster planning procedures. Being in SC this mainly focused on tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods. On top of these two main commitments i was also a CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) subject matter expert teaching the entire base populace of military personnel chemical warfare training prior to their deployments so they would be prepared for an attack.
