MIS 2502 – Data Analytics:
Data Analytics is students receive their first view on what the backend of business databases look like. We used MySQL and R to solve various business problems. Data Analytics is incredibly important and as time goes on availability of data grows exponentially.
MIS 3501 – Data-Centric Application Development
Data-Centric Application Development is our first experience with a real coding language. Here we reviewed basic Hypertext Markup Language alongside Cascading Style Sheets. Once we had a general understanding we dived into using PHP and PDO to create and support websites. This class taught us what it is like to read the language of code.
