My Experience
My father is a cement mason and construction foreman and had been my whole life. When I was in high school he would wake me up early a few times a month and bring me to work with him. He would work me as hard as the other guys on the job that did that for a living. When the day was over he would say to me “the reason I bring you on these jobs is so you know if you don’t go to college this is what’s out there. All I know is concrete; I couldn’t do any other job if I wanted to.” He taught me the value of hard work and, I bring that with me to the business world.
I started my banking career at Citizens Bank as a teller. Every job I had since then I looked at the job above me and said to myself “if I work hard enough I can do that job.” I went from Teller to assistant teller manager, to going to Commerce Bank (now TD bank) as a CSR and in 4 years moving to a CSR Supervisor and then Assistant Manager. Now I am at Fulton Financial Corporation as the Assistant Sales Manager of the Direct Banking Center in charge of FFC’s internet and phone sales for all of New Jersey and a small portion of Pennsylvania. When I finally get my degree at Temple University in 2014, I will have everything I need to climb even higher.
