Welcome

Hello and welcome to my E-Portfolio! My name is Daijha Allen and I’m currently a junior Marketing major at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. As a native of the world’s fashion capital NYC, I fell in love with exactly what we are renown for. Fashion became apart of me as a child, with my grandmother working in the upscale garment industry. Fabrics, sewing machines and Vogue magazines always surrounded me. Upon attending Temple University, I was considering my acceptance to one of the top fashion schools in the world, FIT. In hopes of achieving a Bachelors degree as opposed to an Associate, I knew that Temple would be the better choice. Although Temple offered no fashion related majors or clubs, I knew that Marketing would benefit me on the business side of my desired industry. To my avail, Fox launched FAB, the Fashion and Business Club during my sophomore year in which I am a proud member of. Fox has taught me so much about professionalism and how to pursue a career in any industry through marketing. I plan on graduating in May 2015 with my BBA and returning to NYC to pursue my dream career of becoming a buyer for an upscale department store like Saks Fifth Avenue or Bloomingdales.
