Junior – Marketing Major

Academic History

I began my academic journey at Temple University in 2011 and I don’t regret my decision one bit. Although the school didn’t have the exact major that I was looking for, I was willing to sacrifice to better myself. The hardest decision upon my attendance was my major. I was undecided between Fox and The School of Communications. I knew that I wanted to pursue a business degree, but I wanted to major in Magazine Journalism or Advertising. I felt like those majors would keep my fashion side more apparent as opposed to Marketing. However, I realized that Advertising is practically the same as Marketing; you need both aspects in order to thrive in the business world. Therefore, I decided to pursue my degree in Marketing.

I attended Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School for four years and graduated with a 3.5 GPA. During my attendance there, I was heavily involved in extra curricular activities and organizations. I was a member of the National Honors Society, dance club, drama club, art club, and cheerleading squad. I’ve always had an enormous amount of school pride. I excelled in my English, Creative Writing, Art and History courses. I graduated in the top tenth percentile with an Advanced Regents Diploma. I was also awarded the Scholarly Recognition Award by the President of my school.
