Golf
I have been actively playing golf for the last three or four years. In the past summers, I’ve enjoyed getting out onto the course about once per week. I love golfing because it is a challenging and strategic game that demands practice and focus. The golf course also serves as a relaxing place to spend time with family and friends. This photo was taken of my father, two friends, and myself at a golf course in Avalon, NJ in the summer of 2013.
Live Music
Since I was thirteen years old, I have been attending concerts at outdoor amphitheaters in the summers and indoor arenas in the winters. My first concert was Dave Matthews Band in 2006. Between then and now, I have seen nearly 50 other concerts. Two of my favorite artists to see live are Dave Matthews Band and Bruce Springsteen. I love the energy that is produced through live music and the feeling of camaraderie that exists in a crowd. Running
Growing up, I was involved in nearly every sport that my school had to offer. However, I never had a real passion for running until my freshman year of college in 2012. At this time, a family-friend had recently passed due to cancer. An opportunity presented itself for me to run the 2012 Broad Street 10 Mile Run in her honor while representing the American Cancer Society. Throughout my training for the race I developed a love for the freedom and excitement that comes with running long distances. I completed this same race again in 2013, and will be competing for a third time in less than two weeks. I hope to complete my first half marathon this coming September.
