Throughout my time here at Temple, I have taken various courses that have helped me build a solid knowledge foundation. Some of the most important classes I have taken are the fundamental business courses. I feel as though these are important for working for a large business so that I can understand the principals of how it operates.
Data-Centric Application Development: In this course I learned the fundamentals of programming. I learned HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By learning these languages, I gained a great understanding of how a website works and what goes on in the background to support it. The knowledge I gained in this course will help me in my career as I am going into cybersecurity and knowing the basics of how a website works is a critical element of that.
Financial Accounting: In this course I learned the fundamentals of financial accounting and various methods to apply them. This course gave me a greater understanding of how businesses handle their money.
Microeconomic Principles: In this course I learned how the global economy interacts with the economics of individual businesses.
