Business Solutions Analyst Intern

During the summer, I had the opportunity to intern at Cencora (previously known as AmerisourceBergen). During my time, I worked with the IT department primarily the Order Management team and helped streamline supply chain processes. I facilitated testing in numerous scenarios in the SAP ERP platform to maintain function operations. I was able to work with other interdisciplinary teams to introduce optimal practices and refine business processes, thereby boosting efficiency and improving manufacturer, shareholder, and customer satisfaction. I was also able to use management tools such Jira and Zephyr to record each step meticulously to promote efficient workflows of detailed examinations of both business and IT procedures. I was able to network with other interns during business overviews that we would have daily with other parts of Cencora’s IT department. I truly learned what working for a corporate company was like as I was fully integrated into the system and had an experience of a lifetime. Cencora not only enhanced my knowledge on SAP, PowerBI, Jira and Zephyr, but also corporate processes and communication skills. I’m excited to see how I can take what I learned at Cencora throughout my future career.
