Sales Representative PT, Dell
During my time at 2020 Companies, I worked as a Summer Sales and Marketing Representative for Dell Technologies. I assisted Owl Tech, Temple’s Campus Technology store, in promoting their Dell products at Temple’s new student and parent orientations. I was also able to work on older Dell products to learn how to refresh their systems so they would be ready to be sold as refurbished items for their counterpart, Temple’s Computer Recycling Center. This task gave me an ample amount of experience communicating with a variety of students, parents, and family members regarding the aspects of technology as a whole. Although I had prior experience in coding, I never knew how to troubleshoot electronics or learn how to fix hardware issues regarding them, this internship helped me learn how to do that while also learning how to market these products for sale simultaneously. Overall, I learned a significant amount during this role that would benefit my future in technology.
