Volunteer Project
I helped my boss and the company I work for. The company was really outdated and was still doing all there paperwork still on paper. My boss addressed me on this situation and asked for my help since he knew I was a MIS Major specializing in taking Business problems and turning them into a digital solution. After getting this update I did step in and help. I took two weeks to assess the issue and develop a great plan that my company is using in full affect now. I learned more about Digital Systems, as well as how to collaborate with IT, Accounting, and upper Management. All in all, the service that I did for my boss really showed and now are company follows certain guidelines and is no longer using paper for Invoicing. This is something that I am very proud of, as it tested the skills I have learned in the classroom and allowed me to apply them to an actual situation and have a good/ successful outcome.
