The State of IT Today and Post COVID-19: Online Panel
The sponsoring organizations of this webinar was The Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) and Fox Management Consulting. This webinar occurred on April 27th, 2020 as an online Zoom meeting from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. One thing that I learned through attending this webinar is that the Credit/No credit option chosen by college students shouldn\’t really affect their chances of employment in the future. One observation that was discussed is the increased surveillance on employees used by managers or bosses now that most of the population are working from home. One individual\’s opinion in the discussion was that managers shouldn\’t constantly surveil employees during this time and that they should just make sure that the employees finish their projects before the deadlines. This activity relates to my coursework because I am an MIS major at Temple University and this webinar was on the PRO points calendar on Temple\’s MIS PRO points website.
