Project Documents
Here are some important documents created throughout the project’s design:
• Project Charter
– This document is the foundation of the entire project. It includes important information such as why the project is being undertaken and who the project affects. It also states the project team members, objectives, and risks all in one easy to read document. It paves a guiding path for the rest of the project.
• Business Model
– The business model is a very important document that lays out who the project will affect and how money will flow into and out of the project. It details key partners, activities, customers, and revenue streams. It is the core of the money making aspect of a project.
• Project Plan
– Another important document, the project plan, details the scheduled path that the project will follow. The project plan is developed early on in the project and is used to keep the project on path. It lists important dates and milestones that must be achieved in order to make the project successful.
• Status Update
– This document allows for a quick view of the current status of the project. Everyone in the team can monitor the status of the project. This report gives a glimpse of period date, key issues, task, future dates, team member worked, and an overall status.
• Project Financials
– An estimation of how the early years of the project is expected to perform. Includes revenue, costs, and income.
