Education

Oxford Area High School

I attended Oxford Area High School from August 2010- June 2014. During my time there I took honors classes as well as being in different organizations. I played on the JV and Varsity women’s basketball team my Freshman year of High school. During my junior year I joined Future Business Leaders of America and competed in a state-wide competition. I placed 3rd in my district for spreadsheet applications. During my senior year at Oxford I participated in a dual enrollment program through a local community college where I took college level classes for credit during the time that I was still a high school student.

Delaware County Community College

After high school  I wasn’t 100% confident on where I wanted to complete my secondary education. I started at DCCC as an undergraduate in the Fall of 2014 and transferred out after the Fall 2015 semester. While taking a full term of classes each semester I was there, I also worked a part time job as an assistant manager.

Temple University

After transferring out of DCCC in Fall 2015 I transferred to Temple University in the Spring of 2016. When I began my education at Temple I was a Finance major, so I became apart of Temple University Investment Association as well as the Fox Fund. In the Fox Fund we analyzed undervalued stocks in the S&P 500 and found catalysts for the company that would bring it back to fair value. After changing my major to Management Information Systems in Fall 2016 I joined Association for Information Systems and also the Fox Mentorship Program where I became a mentor. I attended technical workshops through AIS and also participated in community service opportunities such as block cleanup. I’m currently taking a peer mentorship and development class to prepare for my job this summer through Temple University’s Orientation, New Student and Family Affairs Program. I will be an orientation leader (Owl Team Leader) this summer, where I’ll be handling orientation groups of new students as they spend a couple nights at Temples campus to get introduced to the school and area.
