Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners
Through this LinkedIn Learning by Joshua Rischin, I was able to get an initial grasp of Power BI. The Microsoft tool is similar to Tableau in that it can create visualizations and dashboards to create a story for shareholders and overall business use. Before diving into how to create a dashboard, Rischin shows how to understand Power BI and how to place data into the tool. From there, he shows ways on how to collaborate on dashboards, use tools such as slicers to show just a section, and how to create a chart. I was interested in this LinkedIn learning to gain more technical knowledge on BI tools that are not just Tableau learned from the visualizing data class I took this semester.
