Implementing Generative AI Application
This workshop was hosted by two members of the AI team at Cencora. They started with a lecture on what exactly generative AI is. They explained how companies such as Cencora have embraced generative AI. Their team is one of several that is looking at ways to implement AI within the company to help in the world of pharmaceutical sales. They concluded with a demonstration of an AI program they created using Watsonx.ai. They were able to create an AI that would order a pizza by just clicking a few buttons. I was invited to attend this workshop by the new AI course professor, Professor Shafer. From this workshop, I was able to expand on what had been covered in class and see just how the two topics combine together.
